A double by Steve Braun with the bases loaded in the sixth inning was the Twins' big blow in a 6-4 victory over the Rangers. Dick Bosman, pitching for the Rangers with the score tied, 2-2, gave up a single by Rod Carew in the sixth and walked Harmon Killebrew and Danny Walton to load the bases. Don Stanhouse, in relief, struck out Bobby Darwin, but Braun hit his double to clear the sacks and scored himself on a single by Danny Thompson. [The Sporting News]
