. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Carl Morton, who was obtained from the Expos in a winter deal, picked up his first victory in an Atlanta uniform when the Braves defeated the Phillies, 11-2. Morton, helping himself at bat, drove in three runs with a double and infield out before leaving the game after seven innings. Ron Schueler finished. Johnny Oates also drove in three runs with a homer and single, while Mike Lum contributed a homer to the Braves' attack. [The Sporting News]
