A triple by Darrell Evans was the big blow when the Braves scored three runs in the first inning en route to a 5-2 victory over the Phillies. Ralph Garr led off with a single and stole second. After a pass to Hank Aaron, Evans hit his triple and then scored himself on a sacrifice fly by Mike Lum. [The Sporting News]
