Milt Wilcox yielded only three hits, all in the eighth inning, and pitched the Indians to a 6-2 victory over the Angels. The Indians' nine hits off Nolan Ryan included a homer by Dave Duncan in the sixth inning and back-to-back blows by Charlie Spikes and Ron Lolich in the eighth.
