A two-run single by Jeff Burroughs with the bases loaded in the third inning proved the deciding blow as the Rangers defeated the Brewers, 4-2. After Mike Epstein drove in a run with a single in the second, Toby Harrah walked in the next inning and was on third with two out when Epstein was hit by a pitch.

Harrah was trapped off base while Epstein was attempting to steal second, but got back safely by knocking the ball out of the glove of Don Money, who was charged with an error. Dick Billings then walked to load the bases and Burroughs delivered his hit. [The Sporting News]
