Homers by Hank Aaron and Darrell Evans on consecutive pitches thrown by Tom Seaver in the fourth inning enabled the Braves to defeat the Mets, 2-0. Aaron's homer was his fifth of the season and 678th of his career. Seaver allowed only one other hit, but was a loser to Pat Dobson, who handcuffed the Mets on three singles. [The Sporting News]
