Stolen bases helped set up two of the Dodgers' runs in a 3-2 victory over the Pirates. In the third inning, Davey Lopes beat out an infield hit, stole second and scored on an error. After the Dodgers added a run on singles by Ron Cey, Lopes and Bill Russell in the fifth, Willie Davis singled in the sixth, stole second and scored the deciding run on a single by Joe Ferguson.
