The Yankees smashed four homers, each with a man on base, to trounce the Twins, 11-3, behind the six-hit pitching of Doc Medich, who turned in the first complete game of his major league career. Bobby Murcer whacked two of the Yankees' blows and Matty Alou and Graig Nettles hit one apiece.
