Jim Wynn whacked his seventh homer of the season, connecting with two men on base, to lift the Astros to a 5-3 victory over the Expos. Steve Renko, pitching for the Expos, had a 3-0 lead with two out in the seventh inning when Doug Rader ignited an Astro rally with a homer. Johnny Edwards singled. Tim Foli then committed consecutive errors on grounders by Tommy Helms and Bob Gallagher to allow Edwards to score. Wynn followed with his homer. [The Sporting News]
