Batting in his fourth run of the game, Jeff Burroughs singled in the ninth inning to give the Rangers a 7-6 victory over the Red Sox. The Rangers' outfielder knocked in two runs with a single in the third and homered in the sixth. With the score tied. 6-6, Rico Carty drew a walk in the ninth.
