Getting a bases-loaded single by Leo Cardenas to snap a tie, the Indians scored four runs in the 10th inning and defeated the Twins, 8-4. George Hendrick started the overtime stanza with a single off Ken Sanders. When the Twins' reliever hesitated making a throw on a bunt by Rusty Torres, both runners were safe.
