A triple by John Felske was the key blow in the second inning when the Brewers scored four runs to defeat the Tigers, 6-2. George Scott singled, Johnny Briggs walked and Gorman Thomas singled to score Scott before Felske drove in two runs with his three-bagger. Felske then scored himself on a single by Pedro Garcia.
