With relief help from Tug McGraw, Harry Parker gained his fourth straight victory when the Mets defeated the Expos, 8-3. Parker was lifted with two men on base in the eighth inning and the Expos then pulled within 4-3 on an error by Ed Kranepool, but the Mets iced the game with four runs in the ninth.
