Shut out for eight innings, the Yankees rallied for two tying runs in the ninth and then beat the Brewers in the 11th, 4-2, when Felipe Alou singled and Graig Nettles smashed a homer. Nettles also batted in the tying run in the ninth. Bobby Murcer sparked the rally with a homer, Ron Blomberg doubled and Nettles smacked a single. [The Sporting News]
