Ellie Rodriguez, who drove in the Brewers' first two runs with a bases-loaded single in the sixth inning, knocked in another run with a single in the 13th to beat the White Sox, 3-2. Dick Allen homered with a man on base for the White Sox to tie the score in the eighth.

George Scott walked in the 13th and took second on a sacrifice but was out trying to score on a single by Ollie Brown. On the throw to plate, Brown took second. Bob Heise then ran for Brown and Cy Acosta took the mound in relief for the White Sox. On his first pitch, Rodriguez singled to drive in the winning run. [The Sporting News]
