Carlton Fisk hit his second three-run homer in two nights to start the Red Sox off to a 9-2 victory over the Royals. Rick Miller walked and Reggie Smith singled in the first inning before Fisk connected for the circuit off Dick Drago. Fisk also drove in another run with a double in the eighth inning for his second four-RBI game in succession. [The Sporting News]
