Continuing his red-hot hitting, Carlton Fisk batted in four runs with a homer and sacrifice fly as the Red Sox trounced the Rangers, 10-1, to reach the .500 mark for the first time since April 18. The Red Sox record was 26-26. Fisk, who also hit a single, had 14 RBIs and four homers to show for a stretch of five games. [The Sporting News]
