After getting only one hit in three games since returning from injury, Cesar Cedeno exploded at bat with two homers to lead the Astros to a 7-1 victory over the Pirates. Cedeno connected for the circuit with a man on base in the first inning and followed with a three-run drive in the eighth. Jim Wynn also homered for the Astros, while the Pirates' only run off Jerry Reuss counted on doubles by Gene Clines and Richie Zisk.
