While Rick Reuschel pitched a three-hitter, the Cubs broke through against Ken Forsch for all their runs in the sixth inning to defeat the Astros, 3-0. Forsch held the Cubs hitless until Don Kessinger doubled in the sixth. Reuschel bunted and all hands were safe when Forsch threw late to third. Rick Monday then grounded into a double play, Kessinger scoring. Glenn Beckert picked up the attack with a single and Billy Williams iced the victory with a homer. [The Sporting News]
