The personal five-game winning streak of Bert Blyleven came to an end when the Brewers exploded for five runs in the seventh inning to defeat the Twins, 6-3. With Tony Oliva hitting a homer, the Twins had a 2-0 lead before Blyleven blew up.

Ellie Rodriguez, Bob Coluccio and Tim Johnson started the outburst with singles to produce the first run. Don Money followed with a two-run triple and then scored himself on a single by Dave May. After George Scott forced May, Joe Lahoud doubled to drive in the fifth run. [The Sporting News]
