Two-run homers by Pedro Garcia and Johnny Briggs provided batting support for Jim Colborn, who pitched the Brewers to a 4-3 victory over the Twins. Garcia's homer after a single by Bob Coluccio tied the score at 2-2 in the third inning. Rod Carew hit for the circuit to send the Twins ahead in the fifth, but Dave May doubled for the Brewers in the eighth and Briggs unloaded his homer for the winning blow. [The Sporting News]
