Billy Williams drove in three runs with a single and homer to pace the Cubs to a 5-4 victory over the Astros. Before Williams swung into action, the Cubs counted twice in the fourth inning on a walk, double by Ron Santo, sacrifice fly by Jose Cardenal and single by Randy Hundley. Williams then batted in a run with a single in the fifth and followed with a two-run homer for the decisive blow in the seventh. [The Sporting News]
