. . . where the 1970s live forever!

The Angels scored four runs in the fourth inning and five in the fifth to enable Rudy May to defeat the White Sox, 9-2. Singles by Frank Robinson, Richie Scheinblum and Ken Berry, a triple by Al Gallagher and single by Jeff Torborg accounted for the scoring in the fourth.

Singles by Sandy Alomar, Vada Pinson, Mike Epstein and Scheinbum produced the first two runs in the fifth. Then, after a pass to Berry loaded the bases, Torborg and Rudy Meoli walked to force in two more tallies and another counted on a wild pitch. [The Sporting News]
