After Rick Miller and Reggie Smith opened the game with back-to-back homers, the Red Sox added another run on singles by Mario Guerrero, Smith and Carlton Fisk in the fourth inning to defeat the Brewers, 3-2. The Brewers' runs off Bill Lee, who gained his third straight victory, scored in the fourth on a walk, double by Gorman Thomas and single by Bob Heise. [The Sporting News]
