. . . where the 1970s live forever!

The Brewers piled up eight runs in the first inning and breezed to a 12-3 victory over the Indians. The first five batters singled in succession for three runs to kayo Dick Tidrow. Brent Strom relieved and walked Darrell Porter to load the bases. Bob Coluccio followed with a two-run single. After an error reloaded the bases, Pedro Garcia hit a sacrifice fly and Dave May doubled to drive in the last two runs of the inning. Coluccio accounted for two more RBIs with a triple in the eighth.
