Bob Bailey had the greatest game of his career, getting four hits including two homers, one with the bases loaded, and driving in seven runs to lead the Expos to a 19-8 thrashing of the Mets. Ken Singleton drove in five runs with a three-run homer and two run-producing singles. John Boccabella also had a homer for the Expos, who set a club record for runs and hits (21).
