Dave May homered in each game of a doubleheader and the Brewers also got slugging performances from Johnny Briggs and George Scott to defeat the Rangers, 6-4 and 7-3. May homered with a man on base in the first game and Briggs connected for the circuit with two aboard. In the second game, May, Scott and Briggs each batted in two runs.
