A sacrifice fly by Tommy Helms with the bases loaded in the 10th inning scored Bob Watson and brought the Astros a 6-5 victory over the Expos. Ken Singleton hit a three-run homer for the Expos in the ninth to tie the score.

Watson doubled in the 10th. When Doug Rader bunted, Tom Walker threw late to third and both runners were safe. An intentional pass to Lee May loaded the bases to set the stage for Helms' fly. [The Sporting News]
