. . . where the 1970s live forever!
After failing behind, 3-2, the Brewers rallied for three runs in the third inning and defeated the Yankees, 5-4, to end their five-game losing streak. Johnny Briggs opened the rally with a homer to tie the score. Singles by George Scott, Darrell Porter, Tim Johnson and John Vukovich followed to produce two more runs and put the Brewers ahead to stay. The defeat snapped a three-game winning streak for the Yankees. [The Sporting News]
