Evans slugged his 29th homer and drove in three runs, while Schueler upped his record to 6-2 with a 10-strikeout, seven-hit performance on the mound. Evans homered with Ralph Garr aboard in the first inning and singled home Paul Casanova in the fourth to give the Braves a 5-3 lead.
