Two-run homers by Jim Lyttle and Ken Singleton carried the Expos to a 5-3 victory over the Giants. Lyttle hit for the circuit in the first inning following a two-out single by Singleton. Ron Fairly was on base with a triple when Singleton hit his homer in the third. Singleton also accounted for a third RBI with a forceout grounder in the seventh.
