Led by Dusty Baker, who drove in four runs with a pair of homers, the Braves defeated the Pirates, 9-3, for their sixth straight victory. Darrell Evans also homered for the Braves, accounting for one of their three runs in the third inning. Baker's first homer made it 4-0 in the sixth before the Pirates knocked out Roric Harrison in their half during a three-run rally. The Braves then broke the game apart with five runs in the ninth, including Baker's second homer of the game with two men on base. [The Sporting News]
