Led by Don Baylor, who hit a homer, two doubles and a single, the Orioles defeated the Rangers, 7-4. Merv Rettenmund homered for the Orioles in the first inning. Baylor hit for the circuit in the second and drove in another run with a double in the fifth. Tommy Davis and Earl Williams also batted in two runs apiece.
