Bobby Murcer led off the second inning with a homer and Gene Michael added a two-run double to start the Yankees off to a 6-2 victory over the Rangers. After Murcer's homer, Graig Nettles walked, Thurman Munson singled and Michael drove them home with his two-bagger.
