. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Dave Duncan hit a homer to lead off a parade of 12 batters as the Indians scored eight runs in the third inning to defeat the Yankees, 8-5. After Duncan's blow, a walk to Frank Duffy, double by John Lowenstein, pass to George Hendrick, single by John Ellis, walk to Chris Chambliss and double by Buddy Bell produced four more runs before Duncan came up for the second time and singled to score Chambliss. Duffy then doubled to drive in Bell before Duncan scored the eighth run on an error. [The Sporting News]
