Four double plays helped the Angels defeat the White Sox, 6-3. Dick Allen hit into two twin-killings, one of them with the bases loaded in the seventh inning after Dick Selma came in to save the game for Frank Tanana. Frank Robinson hit a run-producing single and the 555th homer of his career for the Angels. Leroy Stanton rapped two singles, scored twice and hit a sacrifice fly. [The Sporting News]
