Tommy Helms collected four hits and Dave Roberts helped himself with a two-run homer as the Astros defeated the Cardinals, 9-4. The Astros took a 4-0 lead in the second inning when Bob Watson, Milt May, Doug Rader and Helms singled and Roberts hit his homer.
