George Hendrick, who scored all of the Indians' runs, doubled in the 11th inning and counted on a single by Ossie Blanco to beat the Angels, 3-2. The Angels had a 2-0 lead when Hendrick scored for the first time on a single by Jack Brohamer in the seventh. The Indians' tying run followed in the ninth when John Lowenstein hit a sacrifice fly after singles by Hendrick, Blanco and Frank Duffy had loaded the bases. [The Sporting News]
