Tommy Davis smashed a pair of two-run homers and Mike Cuellar scattered six singles as the Orioles defeated the Red Sox, 6-0, in a game called after six innings because of rain. Mark Belanger tripled, Bobby Grich singled and Davis hit his first homer of the game in the third. Paul Blair was on base when Davis connected again in the fifth. Consecutive singles by Don Baylor, Brooks Robinson, Jim Fuller and Andy Etchebarren added the Orioles' final tally in the sixth. [The Sporting News]
