The Phillies got two-hit pitching from Ron Schueler and defeated the Cardinals, 7-1, to complete a sweep of the three-game series. Lou Brock doubled in the first inning and Jose Cruz homered in the fifth for the Cardinals' hits. Del Unser batted in three runs for the Phillies with a single and homer.
