. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Jackie Brown, who made his first start of the season May 25 and beat the Twins, drew his second assignment and pitched the Rangers to a 3-0 victory over the Indians. The righthander allowed only three hits. The Rangers beat Fritz Peterson with a run in the second inning on singles by Jim Fregosi, Leo Cardenas and Jim Sundberg. A pulled muscle in his side forced Peterson's exit in the third. The Rangers added their last two tallies off Bob Johnson in the seventh. [The Sporting News]
