After being held to three hits and one run in the first six innings, the Brewers scored three times off Bill Singer in the seventh to defeat the Angels, 4-3. Mike Hegan sparked the rally with a double for his first hit since being acquired from the Yankees. Singles by Bob Coluccio and Pedro Garcia scored Hegan. After a sacrifice, Coluccio crossed the plate on an infield out by Tim Johnson to tie the game at 3-3. Dave May then singled to drive in Garcia with the winning run. [The Sporting News]
