Cesar Geronimo, who entered the game as a pinch-runner in the seventh inning and remained in the lineup as the center fielder, knocked in two runs with a triple in the 10th and scored himself on a sacrifice fly by Pete Rose to bring the Reds a 6-3 victory over the Mets.
