Nestor Chylak, a member of the umpiring crew, was hit on the head with a chair. Tom Grieve hit two homers for the Rangers, who were leading, 5-3, before the Indians began a rally in the ninth when George Hendrick doubled with one out and scored on a single by Ed Crosby.
