Two-run homers by Mickey Rivers and Joe Lahoud helped carry the Angels to a 6-5 victory after they had lost to the Brewers four previous times this season. The Brewers took a 4-2 lead when Rob Ellis singled and John Vukovich homered in the fifth inning. Rivers' smash tied the score in the eighth. The Brewers came back with a run in their half, but in the ninth Leroy Stanton singled and Lahoud hit his homer to give the decision to the Angels. [The Sporting News]
