Steve Rogers, who had a 7-2 record late in May, suffered his fourth straight setback when the Reds defeated the Expos, 3-1. Bob Bailey doubled and Jim Cox singled for the Expos' run in the fourth inning. Rogers yielded only two hits until the fifth when the Reds jumped on him for two runs on a single by Dan Driessen, double by Terry Crowley and singles by Cesar Geronimo and Dave Concepcion.
