Ken Henderson hit two homers and a sacrifice fly, driving in six runs, and Carlos May rapped five singles to lead a 21-hit attack by the White Sox in an 11-7 victory over the Twins. Henderson homered in the first inning with two men on base, added an RBI with his sacrifice fly in the fourth and belted a homer with one aboard in the sixth. May batted in three runs and scored three.

Although staked to a 7-0 lead by the White Sox, Ken Tatum couldn't stand the prosperity and was knocked out in the third inning.
