Joe Morgan hit a homer and sacrifice fly to produce all of the Reds' runs in a 3-2 victory over the Braves. After a single by Hank Aaron gave the Braves their initial run in the first inning, Cesar Geronimo singled in the Reds' half and Morgan hit his homer. Darrell Evans tied the score with a circuit clout in the third, but the Reds came back again, scoring the deciding run in their half on singles by Pete Rose and Geronimo and Morgan's sacrifice fly.
