Posting his third shutout of the season, Ken Brett pitched the Pirates to a 6-0 victory over the Cubs. Richie Zisk provided the southpaw with the only run he needed by hitting a homer in the second inning, but the Pirates proceeded to ice the decision with four runs in the fourth.
