Steve Renko turned in the third one-hitter of his career while pitching the Expos to a 5-0 victory over the Phillies. Dave Cash singled in the sixth inning for the only hit off the righthander. The Expos erupted for all their runs in the fifth inning with Bob Bailey hitting a grand slam. Larry Lintz and Willie Davis singled and Ron Fairly walked to load the bases for Bailey's homer off Dick Ruthven. A walk to Barry Foote and singles by Renko and Ron Hunt added another run before the inning was over. [The Sporting News]
